When we are out of Balance

We are almost always learning something new, it could be a talent, or an ability that hasn’t been utilized. Sometimes it is learning how to speak up for ourselves, or learning how to hold our tongue. We are always fine tuning our self. It’s a natural process and sometimes things get out of balance. It can be upsetting to us and to those around us, but we must have trust and faith that God will lead us through the learning time.

We may need to learn how to say no. saying no, is a way of learning to set boundaries and a way to take care of our self. Sometimes we just might go over board in saying no to just about everything, but it is a way of practicing and exploring our boundaries. It’s like a child learning a new word, it is an adventure in learning how to express our self and a way to empower our self. As we learn to add this word to our life and make it a part of us, there is no longer the need to over use it. It becomes a part of our balanced life.

No, is just a word like love, hope, and joy. Sometimes when we are feeling out of balance we need to look within our self and see what is missing. Words are a tool, they express our feeling. Like wise we must keep in balance with God. We must find that time to be with Him and let Him lead. It’s like a dance, it’s fun to lead, but it’s fulfilling to follow. By following you learn to trust, and have faith in your partner, and that partner is God.

May the Peace of Jesus Christ be with you

Removing Obstructions

There are many events in our lives when things just don’t come together and we are not at our best or our brightest. It’s the perfect time to stop and take a look at what we might or could do to bring out that inner light so it can shine to it’s fullest. Because we are human, our inner light may be blocked form mental or physical situations. These blocks that pop up in our life start as small as a speed bump and they can quickly grow into monsters that we can no longer handle. They have taken possession of our well being.
I am reminded of a phrase from Doctrine and Covenants 162:2e it’s that last statement in that section……. Let the Spirit Breath.

It doesn’t matter how many road blocks you have in your life. What matters is that you start dealing with them and make them disappear. Tackle one at a time and start by breathing in the Spirit of God and ask for his guidance, strength, and his love.

Let the Spirit breath let it be a part of you.

May the Peace of Jesus Christ be with you
